Ruminations on the Month's Ruination

I am so tired of the middle east conflict. No, tired isn't the word. Infuriated, perhaps? I am so sick of the suicide bombings, the bus bombings, the rocket attacks. I am so irritated with those who criticize Isreal as they regulary suffer the loss of innocents, including women in children, and only respond with measured actions targeting specific indivduals.

As I've read about the history of the region, and as I've pondered the war on terror, I've come to the conclusion that the only real option that the US has right now is to take the fight to the terrorists and the countries that support them, and to destroy them totally in a fight that's fought on our terms, not theirs. And that's what we're doing right now, which is why we haven't had another September 11. So why don't we let Isreal do the same?

I just have the feeling that if we let the IDF go crazy on those who continually try to destroy Isreal as we go after those who would attack the US, the world would end up being a better place.
